NYC DOT offers an optional online, searchable directory of companies that provide design, fabrication, installation, removal, storage, and/or leasing/rentals to support compliant outdoor dining cafes. This resource may serve as a one-stop-shop for restaurants looking to build roadway or sidewalk cafes. This Directory is meant to be a helpful resource and is not a requirement for the Dining Out NYC program, restaurants may choose companies, or products at their own discretion.
The list of companies will grow and the City aims to include products and custom designs in the near future.
How to get listed
If you are a company interested in being listed on the Dining Out NYC Marketplace you must attend a mandatory training session offered by NYC DOT.
Companies that attend the training session will be asked to complete a formal registration form. NYC DOT will ensure the company is in good standing and eligible to do work in NYC prior to including a company on the Marketplace. Companies must also provide NYC DOT with documentation that they have obtained the insurance that NYC DOT requires to be listed on the Dining Out NYC Marketplace.
